Nineteen and ooh

I was having a very strong debate in my head before making this post. Do I put it down in writing? Will I jinx the team by mentioning their 19-0 run? I'm still not sure, but I knocked on wood just in case.

The Houston Rockets are kicking some serious ass lately. Surprise, surprise, they are actually getting the coverage they deserve on ESPN. The analyst finally put into words what they have been doing to the Rockets this whole time.

"At first it was fun, then it was a streak, now it is a serious contending team that has an impact on the standings." or something to that effect.

They are only one game back from the Lakers and the Spurs. Only ONE GAME. This is incredible. Only 17 games left. A lot can change in 17 games.

Everyone needs to know on some wood for the Rockets. I said, knock on some would damn it!

Just as long as they don't start that "Clutch City" bullshit again, I guess I can tolerate all this Rockets hype.

Tolerate... tolerate... deep breath Daniel... deep breath...

Okay, I agree I don't think they will pull that clutch city stuff this year. At least I hope not, but I do hope you learn to appreciate the best basketball team in the nation at your doorstep in the next few weeks. You are witnessing history in the making. Doesn't that mean anything? HISTORY IN THE MAKING. I promised myself I wouldn't show emotions...

Best basketball team in the nation?? Were you drunk when you wrote this post as well??

So much for Yao...he gets hurt yet again and they are still able to perform without him, what a waste of $$.

The Rockets haven't been good since they had Olajuwon and they were only good for two years....a decade ago!!!

They have never been great - if you want greatness look to the LA Lakers.

History Smistory!

Oh, it's on like Donkey Kong now.

Yeah, Yao gets hurt. Yes it is his third year in a row with a major injury, but that is because of his size. He is the best center in the game right now. I agree, no one can ever beat Olajuwon. But that was a decade ago. Times change.

Seriously, the Lakers? They will crumble under that immature prima donna. Gasol was handed to them on a silver platter. I bet they don't make it past round two. No chemistry. Bryant will be hurting because of the physical games coming up.

Your boys are struggling to stay on top of the West, while the Rockets have climbed up six spots in the last couple of months. Without a good center, the Lakers are doomed.

And I am definitely not drunk this time (well, maybe a little carry over drunkiness from yesterday. But not full on wasted).
